Temporary Road Closure - Toi Toi Street and St Vincent Street intersection (roundabout)
Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Schick to temporarily close the following roads to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:
Toi Toi Street and St Vincent Street intersection (roundabout)
Date and time of scheduled closure: Wednesday 15 May to Friday 30 August 2024 - Closed 24/7
Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Friday 30 August to Friday 20 September 2024 - Closed 24/7
The closure is for installing raised crossings, stormwater modifications, pavement construction and road sealing. This project is expected to take 12 weeks.
Traffic will be managed through traffic lights. Delays are likely and detours will be in place. Vehicle access for businesses/residents, couriers and home help will be available where possible. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal.
No roadside parking will be available. Pedestrian access will be provided.
