Date and time of scheduled closure: Road closures will occur periodically over the next 13 months (3 February 2024 – 1 April 2025) between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Businesses and residents on Bail Street will be delivered a letter 48 hours prior to closures occurring.

Event: The closure will allow Nelmac and Delta to carry out open trench work required for electrical upgrades.
Location: Gloucester Street at the Kerr Street/Konini Street intersection
Date and time of scheduled closure: Wednesday 12 February to Friday 14 February – 6:00 am on the first day until 6:00 pm on the last day (this is a 24 hour closure)

- Vehicle access for residents/businesses, couriers and home help will be available via Wellington Street and Mount Street. There will be one-way northbound exit to Hardy Street via Konini Street/Kerr Street. There will be no access from Gloucester Street. Delays are likely.

The event will be run between Wainui Street and Elliott Street. Resident vehicle access will be available between Elliott Street and Grove Street when safe and directed by the contractor.
Emergency Services access will be catered for.
Detour will be in place.
The event will run from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
