Temporary Road Closure - Collingwood Street

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Nelmac to temporarily close the following road/s to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below:

Collingwood Street - from the Brougham Street intersection to the top of the street (no.240)

Date and time of scheduled closure: Tuesday 25 February to Wednesday 26 February 2025 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Contingency dates and times when closure may occur: Tuesday 4 February to Wednesday 5 February 2025 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

The closure is to allow the digging of small holes to confirm the location of underground pipes (prior to installing a new wastewater system).

Vehicle access for residents/businesses, couriers and home help will be available – please follow the directions of onsite staff. Delays are possible. No roadside parking will be available within the closure zone. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal and pedestrian access will be provided safely.
