These amendments provide for the following:

  1. Implementation of Policy 7 of the National Policy Statement for Urban Development 2020 to set housing bottom lines for the short, medium and long term in the Regional Policy Statement (Objective DH1.2.2) and District Plan (DO13A.i), as required under Section 3.6 of the NPS-UD 2020.
  2.  Amendment of minor errors throughout the Nelson Resource Management Plan (as a consequence of moving to ePlan and for whole plan consistency).
