WomenNature Gathering (Friday 6th-Sunday 8th December 2024)

The intention for this sweet gathering is to explore Nature and our Selves as women... to connect authentically and to revel in sisterly warmth, nurture & support, laughter & play. We will also move – physically & internally, as well as create spaces to relax and simply Be.

Our venue will be the Tui Treefield and its stunning natural setting in Wainui, Golden Bay.

Things we might do... being in nature, individual and group enquiries, talking circles around the fire, beach walks and swims, massage, hot tub, art and craft, yoga, dance, sharing food, play, song and music... with a balance of facilitated activities for us as a group and relaxation time for free flow and spontaneity.

Moutere Hills County Christmas Market (Saturday 7th December 2024)

Welcome to the annual Country Christmas Market at the Moutere Hills Community Centre

The funds raised will be put towards the extension of the community fitness Centre extension.

There are over 90 stalls booked for the market with a wide selection of goods to sell so some great gifts for Christmas or a little pressie for yourself. Food will also be available.

Nelson Social Dance Club- December Dance (Saturday 14th December 2024)

Nelson Social Dance Clubs December dance, our band for the night will be the very popular "Connors".

For those that missed it last time, Sally will be teaching us "The President's Daughter's Waltz" again. This lesson will run for 30 minutes from 6.45pm to 7.15pm at a cost of $3 pp, a wonderful warm up to the dance to follow. Last months lesson on Cha Cha with Vanessa gave those that attended it a very enjoyable learning experience.

This months dance theme is Christmas, dust off the hats, lights and bells, surprise us.

Also we have a designated meeting table for those who would just like to socialise and listen to the music. Cost $5pp. You can bring your own supper, we will provide the tea and coffee.

Anyone can come, you don't have to be a current or past member of our club or Club Waimea, we will sign you in and give you a pass card to the bar.
