International Compost Awareness Week
Reap the benefits of composting - nature's way of recycling
Composting is an easy and environmentally friendly way to manage your food waste, save money and make your garden more productive.
To celebrate International Compost Awareness Week, from 5-11 May, Rethink Waste Whakaarohia is offering a range of free workshops, events and activities. Whether you’re just getting started, or need a little help troubleshooting, there’s something to guide you on your composting journey, plus some great giveaways and prizes to be won.
You can also put the Rethink Waste Whakaarohia $20 compost subsidy voucher towards the cost of a compost bin, worm farm or bokashi set (available through approved retailers – conditions apply).
